Shun DM0723 Review: Shun DM0723 Classic 6-Inch Stainless-Steel Chef's Knife. Purchased Wusthof 6-inch chef's knife locally. Purchased Shun 6-inch chef's knife through Amazon. Compared blade sharpness by slicing a soft tomato. Wusthof knife required a bit more back and forth motion to penetrate tomato skin. Shun required less. Both knives fit well in hand and were of a comfortable weight. Wusthof knife was very nice looking. Shun knife was beautiful; the blade in particular was very striking, imprinted with both a pattern and a character. Returned the Wusthof knife.
